GlobalGiving Disasters Page

Redeveloped the design, user experience, and content for GlobalGiving's disasters page.

The original CMS page contained a small amount of content at the very top, which included one paragraph and three links. The remainder of the page was an archive of GlobalGiving's previous disaster relief funds.

The new disasters page, now no longer built in a CMS, follows the typical style of our site. It serves both as an evergreen page to learn about GlobalGiving's disaster approach, and place to find our most recent disaster relief funds. I combed through the site to collect and format relevant content to build the page, ensuring that the final product would help donors, partner nonprofits, corporate parters, and reporters easily find the information they each specifically need. My role in this project was about 40% content development and 60% information and visual design.
